An ode to the tintype, executed on a grand scale. The process blends early photographic influence with industrial materials, giving each piece both historic gravity and contemporary presence. The depth of the black tones is worked by hand with archival marker, brushwork, and graphite, creating the contrast and character reminiscent of early photographic plates. Often, I consider this series the pinnacle of my work.
